I met Ava in the late fall of 2009 at Pawsway shortly after she moved to Toronto from Vancouver. My pug Ruby and her had an instant connection. Although four years apart, they behaved as though they were long lost sisters separated at birth and vey quickly Ava became a large part of our lives. We were her surrogate family, she was my surrogate puggie! The moments and memories are too many to mention. I only wish that everyone has the chance in their lifetime to experience the joy that watching Ava and Ruby play brought to me, Ava's parents and those around us! Two peas in a pod.....soul mates.I hope that now she's running freely and will continue to wiggle and smile for everyone she meets.
