Charlotte Update

It is Pugalug Pug Rescue's policy that, if we know the recognized CKC or Pug Club of Canada breeder of one of our rescues, we will contact the breeder to see if they want their pug returned to them. In the case of Charlotte, it was known to us that she was a Jimary Pug. Charlotte's foster volunteers, the Leverts, had bonded very closely with her so they contacted Jimary pugs, explained the situation, told them how much they cared for Charlotte and asked if they could be her new owners. Mary Lou of Jimary pugs was pleased that Pugalug Pug Rescue had contacted her and agreed for the Leverts to adopt her.

Introduction - August 16

Charlotte has been looked after by a kind woman this past 3 years after she was passed to her because of unknown reasons. Unfortunately, the women's situation has changed and she is not able to give Charlotte the attention she had become familiar with. So the woman has asked us to find a loving home for this sweet natured pug. Her last vaccinations were 2 years ago. She is healthy but did have pancreatic trouble a few years ago which the current owner believes this may have been due to an imbalanced diet. She is housetrained and paper-trained.

She loves kids and cats (the current owner is a cat breeder) and there is no reported dog agression. She just wants to be with people. She is pure-bred from Jimary Kennels and was even shown a few times.

We will have a foster update in a few days, after she has settled in.
