Adopter Update - July 23

Donny-O (aka Sam, aka DJ) made it home Friday afternoon and then off to his first visit to the Danforth Veterinary Clinic for his first 'check-up' and Revolution Flea treatment in preparation for his holiday up north. (The first 15 minutes were spent greeting the staff, who seemed very reluctant to let him go....)

He slept in 1-2 hour increments (punctuated by various bathroom and cuddle breaks) throughout his first night before making the 7-hour drive north Saturday morning (punctuated by various bathroom, meal, and cuddle breaks) to meet big brother Buddy on holiday at the camp on Manitoulin Island. He and Buddy hit it off immediately, with Buddy offering his favourite toys to his new little brother and making sure that he learned the proper play for each before snuggling-up together to snooze. (Donny-O seemed to respond to this name more so than to DJ, so that appears to have stuck for the moment.)

He's the talk of the town on Manitoulin and dutifully climbs everyone he meets to snuggle and eventually fall asleep on their shoulder.

Adopted July 11th

Sam (now called DJ) was adopted by the Maguire family who live blocks away from Blanche. He will be joining his brother, Buddy, who is almost a year old. Coincidentally, Buddy is from Lorna's first litter. Brenda and Doug work from home and DJ will lots of attention and love from his folks and older brother, Buddy. They were so excited when we put all the pieces together and realized that Buddy was the full brother to our litter.
