Happy Tails, November 27, 2013
Hugs is doing great! Her eye has completely healed. She loves to follow us and her furry siblings everywhere! She's always giving them kisses and sleeping by their sides. You can tell Hugs has called our place home, strutting her stuff from room to room while batting her eye as if to say 'don't I look pretty?'. She is truly is a wonderful pug :) |

Introduction, September 13, 2013
Hugs is a 12 year old spayed fawn who has had her eye removed through surgery. We received her shortly after and she has been taking her medications like a pro. She sits for her treats like a little lady (wow is she little, 14lbs!) and is the true definition of a velcro pug. You're never without a lap-warmer when Hugs is near. She has adjusted well to her furry foster siblings and loves to kiss them. At first, she was very docile due to the pain meds but now that she has finished them, her fun and social personality is coming out in full force. She is still on her antibiotics for a few more days. Hugs' vet visits have been very good; we had her micro-chipped and her blood work/fecal came back with great results and she is so well-behaved! Hopefully she'll be getting her sutures removed in the next few days depending on how her eye is healing. Despite what she has gone through, Hugs is a sweet, loving and cuddly little pug ... such a trooper. We are privileged to have her in our home. |
