Moogie - adopted July 5th

Mary and Mike adopted our very first rescue - Moe. Wanting to find a companion for Moe, they applied to continue to give Moogie the love and attention that has made him such a great pug. Moogie has gone to be best pug buddies with Moe.

Now accepting applications for Moogie

Moogie would do well either as a single only dog or with a more senior dog - 5 or older. He gets along with cats, is easy going, leisurely walker and cuddler. Not suitable for a family with children or lots of activity.

Moogie Foster Update - June 5th

Moogie is eating regularly now, enjoying cooked chicken and veggies with his kibbles. The walks to the park and around the neighbourhood provide him with lots of places to sniff and run and Moogie likes it.

Mr Moogie feels very protective of us and will bark at anyone and any dog on our walks although that is as far as he goes. He barks and runs up to people and then seems to think that its best to leave well enough alone. He will need a little help to get him to relax more on walks. Two nights ago we went for a walk in the park with five pugs (two of Larry's and one of Jen who lives across the road) and Mr Moogie had a great time running with Odin, Stella and Dublin.

Mr Moogie is good friends with Tommie as proven by the photo of them sharing Mr Moogies bed and gets on well with our cat Mr Giles, especially now that they have gotten used to each other. He is a gentle and sweet pug who does not need to be head of the pack.

Moogie - Introduction May 30th

Moogie is a 5 year old male who will give you his first paw, then his second, speak to you and then do a little dance. He is quirky and stubborn, playful and cuddly. At his previous home he got along extremely well with Harry, his poodle friend.

Unfortunately, due to allergies in the family, Moogie has to find a new home. He was extremely loved and cared for by his former family and it shows in his health and good nature. He is going into foster care for a general assessment and we will soon be reviewing applications to get this guy settled.
