Paddy - adopted May 24, 2006

Paddy is enjoying his new found home and playmate Emily

Paddy's foster guardian was able to find the perfect home for Paddy. It is not always easy to place a senior dog. However Paddy has been placed with a loving couple, Christine and Gordie. Christine, a vet tech, will ensure that Paddy gets the medical attention should the occasion arise.

Paddy - Introduction, May 20th

Paddy is a 9 1/2 year old neutered male whose previous owner had to go into a nursing home. All the people who have met him along the way say Paddy is a very affectionate pug who wants to be loved and cuddled. He comes to us from the North Bay Humane Society and thanks to Cheryl Lamb, volunteer at that organization and Puglaug Transporter Hilary Dorricott for arranging to bring Paddy to us.

The initial foster assessment indicates that he is house trained - there have been no markings or accidents in the house. He is not crate trained but settled into one for a good night's sleept after a long, and tiring journey. He is not upset with other dogs. His current foster home even includes an 11 month old bulldog who was all over Paddy and he was just fine with that. His hearing and vision is currently being assessed.
