Robbie has been with us for four weeks now but it feels like he has always been here. He fit in right from the beginning. He quickly became friends with Daphne and they are always together. He really enjoys going for long walks and trips to the dog park. I found out this week that he is also quite the little swimmer. Robbie has lost nearly a pound since moving in with us; you can almost see that he has a rib cage! He is very well behaved. At first we had a bit of trouble getting him to sit; he would look at us and give us his paw. Since his previous owners had used both English and Portuguese with him, we learned how to say sit, stay and come in Portuguese and now it works every time! He has very busy days at work, as you can see from the picture of the pug pile in the bed behind my desk. We are very thankful that he has come to live with us. He is truly a dream dog.

Robbie is a dream dog. He is so well behaved and socialized. His previous owners have to be given the credit for this boy. He has been going to doggie day camp since he was a puppy and gets along very well with large and small dogs. Robbie is super good with children and is used to infants. He doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body and will let you take anything away from him. He will also share his toys with the other dogs.

He has a little separation anxiety and will scratch at the doors when you leave. If you put him in a crate he settles right down.

Robbie is a little chunky and will need someone who will help him shed a few pounds and keep an eye on his weight. He is not a big barker but we've discovered that he doesn't like the Black Eyed Peas, he will bark whenever he hears them. LOL!!

Robbie would do best with another dog that loves to play as much as he does. He is very smart and knows sit, stay, paw, and go get a toy (he will get a toy to play fetch).

This boy will steal your heart and whoever gives him his forever home won't be sorry.

Meet Robbie a 3 year old (next month) fawn boy. He is so sweet and well behaved, a pug dream. Due to health issues with the family Robbie was surrendered to rescue.

This boy was very loved and taken care of. He is well socialized, he's been to doggie day care and loves to play. He has fit in wonderfully with the resident pugs and met the cats. He's never seen a cat before and can't quite figure out why when he does the play bow they just look at him.

He's fully house trained and has spent the first day running in the yard, wading in the pool (which he thinks is a giant stand in water bowl) and sitting on the deck chair.
