When we rescued Rocky he seemed frail and old. He was only 7. We concluded this was the result of abuse and neglect.

He was cranky towards his pug siblings, but his eyes glistened with emotion towards us. He was sweet-tempered, but like old men he was subject to coughing fits and struggled with the indignities of age (including an adult diaper).

Rocky showered us with years of pug-love. He loved to snuggle in your lap for hours -- a contented and happy old man.

Rocky gently and quietly limped over the bridge recently. I hope life is easier on the other side.
