Trinket

Trinket and I met in Manhattan. I was called as a previous rescue mom -- "We have litter of five black boys and one fawn girl, thought you may want another boy." Instead, Trinket won my heart when she crawled over the heads of her all brothers to get to me -- her tiny "c" tail a blur. 18 1/2 years later I had the heartbreaking task of ending her suffering. She was independent and looked like a sweet kewpie doll when she wanted a treat. She worshiped grape tomatoes and Grandma's buttered toast. She loved her coat, hated being cuddled, loved smelling your breath, smelled like artichokes, and she was brave to the last. You are so very loved and missed, Trinket.
